There are 1440 minutes in every day... schedule 30 of them for physical activity

10 minute sessions, 3 times a day can be just as good for you

Build physical activity into your daily routines

Drink half a bottle (.5 litre) of water 30 minutes before exercise.

Use a sensible approach by starting out slowly

As the minimum amount of activity becomes easier, gradually increase either the length of time or increase the intensity of the activity, or both

With a little creativity and weekly planning, even with the busiest schedule room can be made for physical activity. Every little bit helps

Vary the activities you do, both for interest and to increase the different benefits

Put on some energising music and dance to the beat while you do physical activity

The key to success is to be more active more often. Choose 2 of your favourite activities a day and made part of your routine will after approximately a month become habit. Your body will love you for it!

Keep an activity diary for a week. Pick a typical week and see how active you really are.

You may be used to doing things that could be adapted to increase your physical activity, for example, see how many times you drive when you could walk.
|
