What does 5X30 stand for? The World Health Organisation recommends that you accumulate at least 30 minutes of (moderate intensity) physical activity 5 times a week.....5X30.

What is moderate intensity? Moderate intensity physical activity means your heart rate and breathing increases, you should feel warm, possibly breaking out in a sweat depending on the temperature and your level of fitness. You should be able to carry on for a few minutes without becoming too tired and still be able to have a chat with someone. |

What types of activity would you call moderate intensity? Moderate intensity activities include gardening, brisk walking, cycling, swimming, housework and mowing the lawn.
